Lecture by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride

Michelle Garcia Winner

Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride is a medical doctor with two postgraduate degrees: Master of Medical Sciences in Neurology and Master of Medical Sciences in Human Nutrition. She is the author of the book, Gut and Psychology Syndrome, and runs the Cambridge Nutrition Clinic, UK.

She has pioneered the use of probiotics to overcome learning difficulties and has experienced amazing results using them as a treatment for Autism. Recognised as one of the world's leading nutrition experts, her lecture will explain why she believes that the digestive system holds the key to the child's mental development.

Dr Natasha is a keynote speaker at many professional conferences and seminars around the world and frequently gives talks to health practitioners, patient groups and associations.  Dr Natasha is a Member of The Society of Authors and a regular contributing health editor to a number of magazines and newsletters.

As a parent of a child fully recovered from a severe learning disability, she was acutely aware of the difficulties facing other parents like her, and she has devoted much of her time to helping these families.

After intensive study into the causes and treatments of autism following her son’s diagnosis, she published the book “Gut and Psychology Syndrome Natural Treatment Of Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Depression And Schizophrenia” in which she explored the connection between a patient’s physical state and brain function.  The book also provides full details of the GAPS Nutritional Protocol, which has been highly successful in treating patients with learning disabilities and other mental problems.

We are excited to welcome Dr Campbell-McBride on her first visit to Malaysia. She comes to us on April 20th, 2012 following her GAPS training tour of medical practitioners in Australia.
